To establish routines is essential for our children’s development! Starting with moments and tasks that repeat along the week and are easily identified in your Kidocky, we promote the development of autonomy, responsibility, and organization, fostering a feeling of well-being and harmony with themselves and their environment.
Routines are very important because they enable the creation of a structure for the child’s everyday life, a child who independently solves problems, follows his/her interests, makes choices and sensible decisions. If we adapt routines to each child’s individual needs, and fulfill them daily, we allow him/her to grow with confidence and security, providing tools to seize daily tasks and commitments, thus becoming more autonomous and independent. And why? Because he/she knows that even taking risks, exploring, and finding daily challenges, at the end of the day there is a set of activities that get repeated, and everything is fine.
Did you know that routines also promote the development of time perception? By establishing routines, the child will, progressively, acquire the understanding of time units, the concept of before and after and weekdays sequence, by turning to Kidocky to organize his/her tasks and associate the time of the day they correspond to.
